Beauty of Innocence
Children are born into this world bathed in innocence and wonder, curiosity, authenticity, and beauty. These exquisite qualities are part of the divine fabric of human life that moves through each of us with our very first breath.
If each of us were supported in this innocence and beauty, we would each, like a flower, have the greatest opportunity to unfold our deepest soul potential into this world, a gift from the highest halls, petals born directly from our divine making.
The feelings that move through the newly born are raw and real, and initially unconditioned by the projections that others place upon them. The heart of an infant is tender and vulnerable, honest and true. And so these qualities can move through into childhood and beyond, if they are tended to and honored. This is what a healthy society does for its children, it fosters authenticity and sincerity, it protects innocence and beauty, and eventually moves to ignite soul courage through the support of our highest nature.
But few children have the opportunity to stay in such innocence and unadorned magic for long. Most are rushed through into premature independence, whether it be by crying it out in the middle of the night, being overexposed to violence or sexuality at a young age, or by simply being forced to be too cerebral at a time when we should still be exploring what it means for the human soul to incarnate into this realm. What a miracle this is - and yet our culture quickly moves to have us all forget, a great forgetting of the spiritual nature of life itself.
Such things destroy the life of the soul.
They diminish the human spirit, and render the child handicapped, a shadow of what they actually are in the heart of their miraculous hearts.
Children are conditioned by our conditioning, they are programmed by our programs, they learn directly from our nervous systems, and more and more begin to adapt by adopting socially acceptable ways of being within our culture and society. These ways of being are projections of those around them, and reflect the ancestral wounding and trauma that defines a civilization in massive decline.
As we grow, slowly the divine fabric is ground out of us by a society and a culture which hold narcissism and cunning, sarcasm and insincerity as its very highest form.
Today, I look at the younger generations and those coming of age. They have barely had a chance to live, raised on screens and synthetic foods and pharmaceuticals from an early age, farmed out to the state, they are a generation set adrift, purposefully unplugged from their spiritual center. It is amazing to me that there are still souls within these generations, with all this incredible programming, who somehow are able to escape the clutches of sarcasm and narcissism, and the untruths which hold the web of this society together. This is a testament to the incredible power of the human spirit. This gives me great hope.
Hold your children close.
Protect their innocence as if it were the gem in the center of the rose of their heart, because it is. It is from these qualities that the soul then moves to evolve into its highest form, where we begin to understand the integral relationship between innocence, wonder, beauty and truth.
These great souls then cannot help but become the true leaders of tomorrow, the ones who know the tenderness of the heart, the vulnerability and power of pure love, the necessity of true strength and courage, instruments of divine will.
And so it will be.
