Ceremony
Ceremony is the space where we go to know the sacred.
It is the place where we allow ourselves to be naked, humble, curious and full of wonder, in order that we might come to feel the pulse of the divine within our own beating hearts.
It is the space where we go to move through the transitions that mark our lives, be it birth, union, or death, and where we honor the path of the embodied soul in all ways as it unfolds in it’s spiraling ascent.
And Ceremony is also the place where we go to commune with nature, our ancestral wisdom lineages, and all of the great spiritual beings who guide our way, having tread the path before us.
When we enter into ceremony, every act is holy. We understand that we have entered into the mythological realm of spirit, which speaks to us through image, archetype and symbol. The language of spirit is the language of the dream scape, the threshold space between the worlds, where we allow our hearts intuition to guide the way above all else.
Inside of this mythical realm we encounter all aspects of the Self. We come to know the depths of our own being, the shadow and the light, the violence and the harmony, the ignorance and the bliss, all present within the life of the human spirit. We come to understand that we are the great creators of our own highest destiny, weaving our lives consciously, and unconsciously, both.
We tread this path into the holy space of the Body temple to begin to weave the mythologies of our lives in direct connection to Spirit, for she is the great force who animates all of nature. Without this divine breath, our life would be no more. And yet we forget her presence in our hearts, bones and blood, every single day.
Ceremony is the great remembrance.
It is the invitation into the temple that resides within each of us to rekindle the golden inner flame so that we might reach our highest potential.
It is the practice of reconnecting to who we actually are, in all of our majesty, beauty, power, and grace.
