The other day I was in a Whole Foods shopping for a few things with my son. In the checkout line there was a 60-something year old bearded man in front of me who struck up a conversation. First, he started speaking about my son, whom he called a girl. This is very common because my son has long hair. I wasn’t offended, but I did gently correct him because I do believe biological sex exists, and I do believe it is important to share that reality.
He then went on a small tangent about how in Germany apparently they don’t take biological gender into consideration until children reach puberty. I don’t know if this is true or not and I didn’t feel like discussing it, and so I politely smiled and said absolutely nothing.
He felt the need to continue talking at me, for he wrongly sensed an ally.
This misidentification has happened over and over again for me. I must look the part; progressive, artsy, perhaps “spiritual”. My boy has long locks, I often wear black with gemstones and beads. Yes, I look the liberal part, which is more just neo-liberal, where someone might come upon me and make the assumption that I stand with Biden and Obama and Bush and Clinton and all the rest of the globalists and Soros and the ones who are all meeting right now in that little town of Davos so that they can attempt to determine our fate and pretend to care about people while they ruin their lives and engage in outright genocide.
So this man shifted his conversation to the election year. It was the day after Trump won in a total landslide victory in Iowa. Well, he said, with the way the world is moving and with Trumps victory last night, we are all in for it this year. Too many Trump supporters around these parts, too many guns, he said.
Yes, we are in for it I said. Yes, we are. But it is not for the reasons that he believes, nor for the reasons he felt absolutely sure that I believed. No, this man had no idea where I was coming from.
The assumption that I was on “his team” couldn’t be further from the truth. I wonder if he knew how absolutely ridiculous he sounded. Yes, those deplorables, those racist Trump supporters who caused an “insurrection”, or so insist the neoliberal corporate bourgeoisie.
Couldn’t this “sensitive man” observe that these people, these Trump supporters are the ones who have been forsaken and forgotten by a world that cares not for their antiquated life. Like the Amish, who wildly support Trump, they value freedom and family, and just want to be left alone.
And I understand that, because so do I.
I want the government to stop telling me what to do and how to live my life.
I want the government to stay out of my parenting choices.
I want the government to serve the people, and not the reverse.
I want the bill of rights to continue to stand, because it is that which separates us from the tyranny that his precious party imposed upon us over a “virus” with a 99.5 percent survival rate in most populations. Yes, what happened then still very much matters, especially because they are attempting it again and again, and the WHO Pandemic Treaty is set to be voted upon in May.
I want all of this, and so do most all Trump supporters. There is nothing at all wrong with wanting freedom from governmental tyranny for ourselves, and for our children.
Times are changing, and as I watched that man drive away in his hippie car with a coexist bumper sticker on the back, I thought to myself, what times we are living through, what times are these.
Truth, falling from the sky, and human beings too wrapped up, infiltrated, programmed, to even realize what they are doing and who they are aligning with.
But times are changing, truth on the horizon, and we are on a collision course with destiny.
yup.
Amen Mare! Thank you 🙏✨
