Communist propaganda was one of the many reasons why I left the left. Any human being that has lived under this kind of regime would suffer a thousand wounds to be able to live in this country. This, along side the excuses made for violent rhetoric and destructive ideologies that target the young and innocent, and the total belief that the government has the right to choose what would be injected into my body, or the body of my child. And so it comes as little surprise that two of the suspected main organizers of the LA protests are pro-communist, funded by nefarious sources.
For me, and those like me, I cherish freedom.
I love liberty.
I know sovereignty is my birthright, and the birthright of every human flame.
There are many, many terrible things about the US government, things that I do not align with, things that I will never condone, but there is also a reason why people flood our borders, and want to live here. There is a reason why people who have lived under true fascism strive to immigrate. Within the world as we know it now, what country does not have a border?
If I were to dream of a more utopian world, I would see a world where human beings may travel freely all over the earths sacred terrain. I would see a world where freedom of being and speech, freedom of choice and spirit, reign strong. I would see a world that lives through the sacred in all ways, a world that protects its children and honors its mothers, a world that rejects all violence and bloodshed, and a world that holds life and the great mystery as its highest frequency.
But this is not the world that we live in today.
We could speak about what it might take to one day arrive at the shores of such a utopia, but one thing is for sure; such a world is not born out of this kind of violence. Such a world is not born out of silencing dissent either. It is not born out of systems of control, it is not born out of systems of manipulation, it is not born out of terrorism and fear mongering, it is not born out of an eye for an eye, and above all, it is not born out of denial of the sacred.
And so we move forward in this bloodbath of fear as manipulation that is being propagated at every turn, in a system that is a reflection of our collective state of consciousness, which cannot conceive yet of another reality. And so the borders remain, until we might be able to envision, together, what seeds must be planted in order for another paradigm to emerge.
The template has been here, before our eyes, within our blood and breath and bones, all of this time. And yet, we refuse her sweet embrace as we refuse where it is that we emanate from.
Once again, thank you for your words.
