Our Sacred Human Heritage
Human beings prefer to believe that culture is generated organically, and is ultimately a product of the greatest minds and talent naturally pushing it forward into new and exciting territories.
This territory, from the consensus perspective, is a natural unfolding of the evolutionary process. These outcomes, if we follow that logic forward, are an inevitable byproduct of our human development.
Oh what a strange and winding path that development has taken us in.
Is this the best that we can truly do?
Our hospitals feel like death traps.
Our schools look like prisons.
People live largely meaningless lives - enslaved to a system that demands we work our entire spiritless lives, largely in boxes and tiny cubicles, cut off from the natural world, divorced from our own living soul.
If one is lucky enough to be born into wealth, one can while away the hours bathing in pure narcissism, chasing a fantasy built of violence and forgetting.
The drugs we use are lethal.
Our water and food systems are poisonous.
Our entertainment is largely degenerate.
Our arts are mostly entirely grotesque - obsessed with over-intellectualization, fragmentation, violence, and sexuality.
People are desperately trying to escape themselves - carving up their bodies to give them some false sense of completion or fulfillment - when the peace that they seek can only be found within.
Children are being exposed to increasingly terrorizing, brutal and sexualized content, without a second thought.
This is called being “progressive”.
Is this the natural unfolding of human consciousness at work?
Is this truly the best that we can do?
When one takes the courage to actually look more deeply into the engine of our culture, one begins to understand that this is not the case, at all.
One begins to comprehend that society is actually being specifically engineered, from the top down.
One begins to see the hand of manipulation in every single cultural “twist of fate”, one begins to sense a strange force behind all major trends and events, one begins to feel a dark cloud over every “new normal”.
One begins to notice that the old ways are being destroyed, and purposely.
One begins to feel the deep and intentional severing of the wisdom lineages - our rites-of-passage and coming of age traditions have been rendered largely meaningless, The Red Tent lost and gone - along with all great Women’s Wisdom traditions. The warriors and the great protectors of yesterday have been largely infiltrated through pornography, Peter Panism, and drugs to mute the pain of a meaningless existence.
This is the intentional starvation of soul life.
Is this truly the pinnacle of civilization?
I ask again, is this the best that we can do?
No, it has been designed this way.
This is not our human heritage.
This is not what our ancestors - yours and mine - this is not what they wished for us.
This is not what they intended.
Understanding this, on the most fundamental and basic level, is what it means to awaken, to exit the dark cave, and walk out into the pure light of day.
No true awakening of consciousness can occur without recognition of the invisible hand that has forged this dark simulation, blinding us to the very existence of our spiritual vision, and with it, the understanding of our divine human destiny.
And who would we be without these great manipulations?
Who are you, alone in the woods at the break of day, light pouring down, heart beating strong, spirit riding the breath through the current of wind spiraling in infinite directions?
Who are you truly when the moon rises and moves the tides, at her whim?
Through this realization, one no longer identifies with the hidden engine of that cultural force, which breeds a totally meaningless existence.
One no longer follows their order, one no longer bows to their trends, one no longer submits themself to the total annihilation of their own sacred being.
Instead, one begins to claim, independently, our sacred human heritage.
Through such reclamation and liberation, the field of potentiality reveals itself, and as all things become possible, we remember what it is to be human.
