The High Mountain Path
How do we allow the Spirit to rise?
How do we allow ourselves the process of rebirth and renewal in a time of such great darkness and profound reckoning?
How do we not become entrapped by the darkness whose very impulse is to seek to ensnare us, and for it’s tentacles to wrap around the heart so that there is no light let in, so that all hope is lost, so that darkness and disease and decay become everything.
How do we learn to transmute our suffering into the gold that it is, so that the heart might illuminate our way through the great mountains that lie ahead?
If one stares into the abyss long enough, one becomes the abyss.
Madness is assured.
Chaos is established.
Harmony and the natural order of things is obliterated, and the light is snuffed out.
We are living through a moment in time when we must learn to allow the Spirit to rise.
We have not been taught how to do this, but learn by we must.
We must learn to be with what is, without becoming it.
We must learn to allow the suffering to transform us, and be our initiation.
We must be guided by the sword of truth, and the staff of wisdom, both.
We must release our own personal need to control and dominate, subjugate and manipulate, in order that we might step into the consciousness that can lead us through the high mountain path into the break of day.
The heart’s Intuition is our greatest resource, connected directly to the divine oceanic pulse that moves through us all.
The call is now.
Grieve, and be humble.
We are all vulnerable now, no one is immune.
Live into the heart.
Let the putrid burn out.
Become more and more and more the greatest version of who you were meant to be.
Learn to let the Spirit rise.
